The decline in children’s mobility in recent years is really rather shocking. My younger sister, for example, has much less freedom to roam and explore and develop the associated life skills than I did at her age, despite there being less than ten years age gap between us. Anything which reverses this (and helps to create a healthy lifelong cycling habit) can only be a good thing for all of us.
