Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 30th May 2019

This week's Good Cycling Facility is the cycle-only exit at the northern end of Judd Street in London.

Previously this arm of the junction was open to motor traffic, but it has recently been made cycle-only. This has allowed the footways to be significantly widened, as well as improving the safety of cycling at this formerly noisy and busy location. Judd Street itself has been significantly calmed now that it is no longer a through-route for motor traffic.

Cycle-only signals allow people cycling to cross the busy Euston Road in complete safety.
