The AGM is coming!

Dear Ambassador,

It's the Embassy's AGM this month, and we're going to be the guests of Cambridge Cycling Campaign. Expect an enormous bike park, and lots of people getting about happily on old clunkers, as well as the usual odd British decisions at junctions. (Because, of course, there will be our now famous infrastructure safaris on both days, with maybe a Friday option if enough people arrive early!)

We'll be talking about a new Infrastructure Library that we're planning to set up with other partners, and reviewing the campaigning landscape in the United Kingdom. The exact schedule is still being decided, but it will look something like this:

Friday evening - infrastructure safari for anyone who can make it early, no doubt followed by important discussions over beer.

Saturday morning (around 10am) - first infrastructure safari, starting at the railway station. We'll end at the venue, around midday. Lunch together, then down to business, tea, coffee and networking. CCC are scouting out a nice dinner venue, too. (We normally sneak in an impromptu bike ride before dinner, too!)

On Sunday, there'll be another safari, followed by a group review of the cycle campaigning landscape. Business normally wraps up after lunch, as some attendees have quite a journey to get home - we do cover almost the whole of the British Isles, after all!

You can sign up for the event on Lanyrd, and we've got a list for people who'd like to stay with someone local - you can apply using this Google form

Kind regards,

Tim Lennon
