Making Scotland a cycle-friendly nation

Pedal on Parliament will be gathering cyclists from across Scotland for a mass ride on Holyrood to deliver a petition and manifesto in support of safer cycling and roads fit for people to the Scottish Parliament

Gathering at the Meadows at 2pm, the ride will set off at 3 after a minute's silence in memory of cyclists killed on Scotland's roads. After a short ride down to Holyrood, there will be a picnic in Holyrood park. The ride will be family-friendly, light hearted and fully marshalled, although there will be no closed roads. Those who can't bring their bikes are urged to come on foot, skateboard, roller-skates or scooters. There is also an online petition to sign in support of the manifesto.
