This week's Good Facility is Regent's Row in the London borough of Hackney.
This is a street that has recently been filtered, removing through traffic. Drivers can still use this street, but only to access a handful of properties, meaning motor traffic levels are very low.
Until recently this street also had a bumpy cobbled surface, which in combination with higher levels of motor traffic meant many people opted to cycle on the towpath, to the left of the photograph.
The new smooth surface, and the filtering, mean that the road is now a natural choice for people cycling, reducing conflict on the towpath, as well as providing a better cycling environment. Railings that used to separate this road from the canal have also been removed.
