Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 29th March 2018

This week's Good Facility of the Week is an example of relatively remote rural path near the town of Appelscha in the Dutch province of Drenthe.

This path has recently been upgraded to make cycling a comfortable and easy experience. The two pale bands are composed of perfectly smooth concrete, while cobbles have been retained in the middle of the road.

This path is used for access for agricultural traffic, but it also forms part of a dense recreational network of cycling paths.
