Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 23rd July 2020

This week's Good Cycling Facility is a cycle path running between Utrecht and the new suburb of Leidsche Rijn in the Netherlands.

Everything in this photograph is essentially new, built from scratch as part of the development. That means the path has been built with street lighting and plenty of new trees to provide shade, and shelter from the elements, as well as a further degree of separation from the road, visible to the right.
