A bus stop bypass in Brighton, with an accessible pedestrian crossing facility.
It turns out that British soil can handle good quality cycling facilities! Who knew?
Lewes Road, Brighton.
(Note that, as of writing, Google Streetview shows the old design of having the bus stop in a lay-by.)

Unforgiving kerbs
the kerbs though are not forgiving. ie, if you have to avoid a pedestrian who bumbles across your path, you have nowhere to go except hope to stop in time...
and what's the bets that the first time a pedestrian gets hit here, they slap give ways across that crossing and cyclists dismount signs as well...
