Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 16th November 2017

This week's Good Facility is an example of... planning ahead.

This cycle path in the the Dutch town of Elst currently goes nowhere. It's on the edge of a roundabout (the circular path in the foreground). When the roundabout was built, this new path was built at the same time, ready to connect with a new development that is yet to be built. No need for later integration into the roundabout - the path and the junction are already in place.
