Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 15th September 2016

This week's Good Facility is a straightforward cycle path alongside a rural road in the Dutch province of Drenthe.

The path is bi-directional, marked, like a road, with a centre line. It is well separated from the road, with a large verge, with trees in it, making cycling more quiet and comfortable.

The surface of the path - as is standard for this area of the Netherlands - is smooth concrete. The path also has its own separate street lighting.
