Good Cycling Facility of the Week: 13th December 2018

This week's Good Cycling Facility is a section of street that is now entirely closed to motor traffic - Newcomen Street, in London. 

A series of bollards prevents motor vehicle access while allowing cycle traffic to pass through. The street is safer, quieter and more pleasant as a result.

The street also has cycle-only traffic sigals at the junction, allowing people to safely exit and enter the street from the main road.
