This week's Good Facility is a mundane yet very useful piece of design - a short section of 'cycle road' that forms a link between Ossulton Street and Brill Place in the London Borough of Camden, close to St. Pancras station.
As you can see from the photograph, this bit of infrastructure is designed exactly like a road, distinct from the footway, with tactile paving for visually impaired people. The crossing here is also flush.
This link is a form of 'filtered permeability' - only people cycling and walking can get from one street to the other. This prioritises these two modes of transport, while helping to ensure that the streets that are filtered aren't through routes for motor traffic, meaning they are safe and attractive to cycle on.
