Any Scottish cyclist interested in finding out more about the work of the Cycling Embassy of Great Britain is invited to join our chair, Jim Davis, and a number of others in Glasgow on Saturday 18th of February. We'll meet at Glasgow Central Station (the main entrance, on Gordon Street) and then take a tour of some of Glasgow's finest and slightly less fine cycling infrastructure (route kindly drawn up for us by Andy Preece of Strathclyde Go Bike!), stopping for lunch and discussions in Milngavie and then returning to Central Station. The route is about 8 miles and the pace will be leisurely (Jim will be on his Brompton and it's only got three gears) with plenty of stops along the way. Lunch will be at the Burnbrae pub in Milngavie at about 1pm, for those who wish to join us for the discussion but can't make it to the ride. Everyone is welcome, but be warned it will be as much about cycle campaigning and infrastructure as it is about the ride.
If you're interested in joining us, email secretary@cycling-embassy.org.uk so we know you're coming and don't leave you behind.
