Birmingham: Klaus Bondam’s Talking Cities lecture entitled ‘What makes a liveable city?’.

Calling on his experience as Copenhagen’s Mayor of the Technical and Environment, Klaus will talk about how ambitious goals and strong leadership has helped thrust Copenhagen to the forefront of green, city living.
Klaus Bondam is director of The Danish Cultural Institute in Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg – The Benelux. Prior to this, he was Copenhagen’s Mayor of the Technical and Environment Administration.
The Copenhagen 2015 is by far his most ambitious initiative. “By 2015 the goal is to become the world’s best city for cyclists, center for world climate politics, a green and blue capital, and the cleanest capital in Europe,” he says.
