Cycling Embassy AGM in Leicester, this weekend

This Saturday and Sunday the Cycling Embassy of Great Britain will be visiting the city of Leicester for our AGM.

On the Saturday morning we will be on one of our trademark Cycle Infrastructure Safaris, kindly organised by Leicester Cycling Campaign Group, looking at the changes the city has been implementing to make cycling an attractive and safe mode of transport for everyone, and also at what needs to happen elsewhere at other locations in the city.

After lunch, we will be treated to a talk from Brian Deegan of Transport for London, on design issues facing the implementation of high-quality cycling infrastructure.

This will be followed by two workshops - one on designing in priority for cycling at junctions, the other an Embassy website and materials workshop

These workshops will continue on the Sunday, combined with formal Embassy business, and a social ride.
