Cycling Embassy members to gather at Newcastle

The Cycling Embassy of Great Britain is inviting all of its members, and those interested in first class cycling provision in the UK, to join it and New Cycling in Newcastle on the 1st and 2nd of June for a gathering and AGM.

More than just a meeting, the CEoGB gatherings are generally a weekend of intense discussion, infrastructure safaris, and the occasional side visit to a pub. Last year's Bristol gathering packed in no fewer than four tours of the best and the worst of the Cycling City's bike provision and we expect Newcastle to provide just as much of interest. New Cycling are one of the most dynamic new local cycling campaigns, and while the Toon can't boast the same cycling levels as Bristol or Cambridge, they have made a big impact on the ambitions of the city for cycling.

The weekend will be an opportunity to shape the Embassy for the future. Cycling campaigning in the UK is undergoing a revoloution and the Embassy has been at the forefront of that - we need to make sure we stay that way. Please join us.
