This week's Good Facility (picture courtesy of Jaap Eldering) is another mundane piece of Dutch cycling infrastructure - a 4m wide bi-directional cycle path through new development (still under construction) in the Leidsche Rijn area in west Utrecht.
The path is not only wide, but smooth, and at a raised level above the road, making it even more obvious that motor traffic crossing this path, on residential streets, should yield.
These paths criss-cross the new development, providing safe, easy and convenient connections by bike.
