Remember, Remember

The Embassy’s own Mark Ames, of ibikelondon, and Cyclists in the City invite you on a ride round London’s most dangerous junctions. Starting at the front of St. Mark’s Church, at the Oval in Kennington at 10:30 on Saturday the 12th November the ride will take in the ten most dangerous junctions according to TfL’s own figures (http://cyclelondoncity.blogspot.com/2011/10/top-10-killer-junctions-for-...) to draw attention to how traffic flow is being placed above the need to safeguard cyclists’ and pedestrians’ lives. The ride will be gently paced, and there’s no need to tackle any of the dangerous junctions if you don’t fancy it – just get off and push if you feel unsafe – but if enough people turn up it should make for a much safer and more enjoyable ride than cycling any of them on your own.
